Shippo falls in love with a young girl who believes her deceased older brother will return to her someday. " Ishi no Hana to Shippō no Hatsukoi" (石の花と七宝の初恋) The ending themes were "Dearest" by Ayumi Hamasaki for episodes 55-60 and "Every Heart" (Minna no Kimochi) by BoA for episodes 61-82.
The opening themes for this season were "I Am" by hitomi for episodes 55-64 and "Unending Dream" (Owari nai Yume) by Nanase Aikawa for episodes 64-82. The English dub of the third season was broadcast on Cartoon Network as part of its Adult Swim programming block from May 8, 2004, through January 17, 2005. The anime is licensed for release in North America by Viz Media.
The first season introduces the central characters and shows the group gathering together. Joined by a lecherous monk, a young fox demon, a demon slayer, and a demon cat, the group seeks to find the fragments of the shattered Jewel of Four Souls, a powerful jewel that had been hidden inside Kagome's body, and keep the shards from being used for evil, including the evil half-demon Naraku who slew Kikyo fifty years before Kagome's arrival.

The series follows a high school girl, Kagome Higurashi who travels back in time to the Sengoku period of Japan where she meets a half-demon named InuYasha and learns that she is the reincarnation of a powerful priestess named Kikyo. Based on the manga series of the same title by Rumiko Takahashi, the anime was produced by Sunrise. Kagome remarks that Satsuki was Shippō's "first love".The third season of the anime series InuYasha aired in Japan on Animax from Decemthrough August 12, 2002. Shippō is seen staring into space, while the others discuss how even if he is a child, he is still a man. In the end, Satsuki moves in with the kind headman, and reveals to everyone that she actually knew of her brother's death all along, but just refused to accept it. Miroku reveals that the lizard demon was the same one he had exorcised from the village headman's house the day before. Inuyasha appears and defeats it, but pretends for Shippō's sake that Shippō had done most of the damage. Shippō battles the demon, but his attacks don't seem to have much effect on it. While running away, he creates a flying horse for Satsuki to escape on, and when the illusion ends and she falls from the sky she falls right into the path of Kagome, Inuyasha, Miroku and Sango, who had been looking for Shippō. He finds a demon pretending to be Satsuki's elder brother, and tries to save Satsuki by using his fox magic to create an illusion to distract it. The next day, Shippō goes to visit Satsuki, planning on saying goodbye to the young girl before the gang has to leave the village. Inuyasha teases him about "falling" for Satsuki, Shippō retaliates by mentioning his love triangle with Kagome and Kikyō only to end up with another kick on his head. Just as he is about to escape with them, he is stopped by Inuyasha and Miroku. That night, Kagome has a bad dream about Math, and Shippō tries to steal the real shards that they have in order to give to Satsuki. However, afterward, Sango and Kagome confirm that it is actually just a "Stone Flower" (a piece of quartz). Shippō takes Satsuki to the group, wondering if the Jewel Shard in Satskui's possession is real. Meanwhile, Miroku exorcises a lizard demon from the headman's house, much to the surprise of the others who believe he could not be anything but a fraud. Her elder brother actually died during the Civil War, but Satsuki refuses to believe so and is determined that he will return to her. Satsuki then shows Shippō a "Sacred Jewel Shard" given to her by her elder brother to inspire hope in her before he left for battle. Shippō saves a young girl named Satsuki from bullies who accuse her of stealing.
